The '''Technical Evaluation Panel''' evaluates the technical components of every new [[gTLD]] application based on the criteria set forth in the [[Applicant Guidebook]]. The panel examines the proposed registry operations of the applicant to determine if it is technically capable to operate a new gTLD registry and to ensure the stability, security and interoperability of the [[DNS|Domain Name System]] (DNS). The review is one of multiple related reviews that form initial evaluation.
