Onica N. Makwakwa is the Africa Regional Coordinator for the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI). She has also served as Head of Regional Office for Africa at Consumers International (CI). Onica has over 20 years professional experience in the nonprofit sector in the USA and in Africa with various roles in advocacy, communications, fundraising, executive leadership and governance. An early adopter and avid user of digital services she is passionate about the Internet as a tool for transformation and empowerment.
