    Alejandro Guzman is currently the Vice-President of Network Strategy at Fastly. He was before the Director of Interconnect for Americas and APAC at Google where he worked since January 2012.[1]. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors at LACNIC since 2009.[2] He is now the Chairman. He has been the youngest member of the Board of Directors and has contributed in many aspects of the LACNIC functions and is co-autor of several policies related with Internet addresses.

    He is a former IP Product Line Specialist at INTERNEXA.[1] Mr. Guzman was responsible for product and services development.[2] And Product Development Specialist at EDATEL (Grupo UNE Colombia)

    Mr. Guzman was a representative of LACNIC on ICANN's Address Supporting Organization's Executive Council; from 2012 through 2014.[3]

    He has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Pontificia Bolivariana University of Medellin, Colombia and a Master's degree in Telecommunications from the same institution. He has also received diplomas in finances, project management, marketing, innovation, product development, strategy and more.[4]
