Igor Motsnyi (also known as Mocni) is a Serbia-based Intellectual Property (IP) lawyer, UDRP panelist, and UDRP scholar. He has lived and worked in five countries.
Career
editMotsnyi’s practice focuses on international trademarks, domain names, brand protection, and domain-name disputes. He worked as in-house counsel at software companies and at large law firms before founding his IP consultancy, Motsnyi IP (also referred to as Motsnyi Legal), in December 2010.
He serves as a UDRP Panelist and URS Examiner, and also represents both complainants and respondents in domain-name disputes.
He also organized the international conference in Belgrade, Serbia, Protection of IP in Digital Environment
ICANN & Community Involvement
editMotsnyi participates regularly in ICANN meetings and Internet-governance events. He is a member of the GNSO’s Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC).
