Jaifa is one of the Governmental Advisor Committee representatives from Colombia, where she participates on behalf of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies.

Career

Head of the International Office of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies from Colombia. Before joining the Ministry, she worked as the Administrative and Marketing Director of the firm DLA Piper Martinez Beltran, the Colombian office of the international law firm DLA Piper.

Jaifa has over seven years of experience working on international affairs in both, the public and private sectors. She has also experience in consumer and competition protection, and privacy law.

ICANN Involvement

Jaifa is participating in the GAC since June 2016.

Involvement in Internet Governance

From the International Office of the Ministry of ICT of Colombia, Jaifa coordinates the participation of the Ministry in the National Internet Governance Table of Colombia.

Education

Jaifa studied Govern and International Relationship at the Universidad Externado de Colombia in Bogota and holds a post-graduate degree on International Cooperation from the same university.

Governmental Advisory Committee. Considers and provides advice on the activities of ICANN as they relate to concerns of governments, particularly matters where there may be an interaction between ICANN's policies and various laws and international agreements or where they may affect public policy issues (ICANN Bylaws).
