The Alumniportal Deutschland is a social network designed to promote networking and sharing information among Germany-Alumni, companies, universities and organizations. It offers its users to get in touch with Germany-Alumni from around the world as well as companies in order to discuss special issues, develop their skills and benefit from the expertise of others.
Services
The website offers a wide array of services, including;
- Webinar & Events: The community has an opportunity to inform itself about the variety of events, such as career fairs, or webinars on job applications[1]
- Jobs & Career: The users have an opportunity to learn about jobs, inform themselves on certain careers and learn more about the jobmarket[2]
- Online Community: The users have an opportunity to join groups where they can network and interact with each other[3]
- Newsletter: The users can subscribe to a free weekly newsletter per email containing information on Germany, interesting discussions and activities in the community and an overview of all current alumni events and networks.[4]
- Topics and Projects: Under topics and Projects, the users can learn German online, take language tests, inform themselves on educational programs, or learn about the latest research and discoveries[5]
