    Evandro Varonil is a Brazilian Internet and telecommunications executive recognized for his leadership in Internet governance and regional ISP integration initiatives across Latin America. He currently serves as a Director of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Brazil.

    He is the Vice-President of LACNIC (Internet Addresses Registry for Latin America and the Caribbean), Vice-President of SEINESP (Union of Internet Companies of the State of São Paulo), and a Board Member of ABRINT (Brazilian Association of Internet and Telecommunications Providers).

    He also serves on the Advisory Board of LAC-ISP (Federation of Latin American and Caribbean Internet Provider Associations and Chambers) and is a member of the Committee of Small-Scale Telecommunications Service Providers (CPPP) at ANATEL (Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency), representing ABRINT.

    Varonil previously held leadership positions at Fasternet, Friis Telecom, and Americana Digital, and was Founder and former Director of ABRINT. He has also served as a Director or Advisor in several other industry associations and organizations.

    Earlier in his career, he was a university professor at Faculdade de Tecnologia de Americana (FATEC), Faculdade de Americana (FAM), and Universidade Paulista (UNIP).

    He holds a Degree in Data Processing Technology from FATEC and is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Ubiquiti Certified Trainer (UCT), with technical specialization in Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, and MikroTik technologies.

    Involved with the Internet since 1995, when it first became commercially available in Brazil, Varonil has provided lectures and presentations across Latin America. He is responsible for the administrative and technical implementation of Autonomous Systems (ASNs) for Internet Service Providers using the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.

    He has actively participated in LACNIC’s Public Policy Forum (FPP), where he defended and achieved consensus on key policies that have strengthened the regional Internet community.
