Gerard Meijssen has been involved in Wikis for a long time, and his expertise surrounds languages and dictionaries. Gerard Meijssen currently works on Project Management for the OmegaWiki project.[1]
Gerard Meijssen worked with the Tropenmuseum of Amsterdam to make the old photos and pictures of museum objects that were part of Dutch, Surinam and Indonesian cultural heritage, available.[2]
Gerard Meijssen is also a Member of the Language Committee at the Wikimedia Foundation. He is also the Chairman at Stichting Open Progress.
