    The Institute for Intelligent Society Governance (THUISG)[1] is a multidisciplinary academic institute established in 2021 by Tsinghua University, one of China’s leading universities. The institute focuses on the intersection between artificial intelligence (AI) and public governance, aiming to provide theoretical foundations, policy recommendations, and technological tools for the governance of intelligent societies.

    Mission

    THUISG’s mission is to:

    Explore how emerging AI technologies reshape governance models;

    Promote responsible, inclusive, and human-centric AI development;

    Serve as a think tank and policy advisory body on issues related to intelligent governance.
