ironDNS is a subsidiary of Knipp Medien und Kommunikation GmbH. ironDNS' services are targeted at registries, registrars, and large enterprises. It offers unicast and anycast services at currently 10 locations worldwide, IPv4 and IPv6 are supported; and ironDNS uses its own new DNS engine, which provides real diversity when combined with other open source solutions.[1]
