    The third sector is involved in charity work, volunteering, and non-for-profit activities.[2] Similarly, CGI.br is a non-profit organization in charge of the promotion and development of Internet services in Brazil.

    Mario is a member of the Consortium of Free Software Developers and Users in Latin America and the Caribbean of UNESCO. He was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
