Murray Kucherawy is an Area Director for Applications & Real-Time Area at IETF.[1] Kucherawy has been authoring RFCs since 2009.[1] He has chaired several working groups (MARF, WEIRDS, APPSAWG, DISPATCH, DCRUP, and more recently DMARC) and served on back-to-back NomComs. He also serves as one of the reviewers of Media Type applications, and was a member of the ICANN Technical Study Group supporting the successor to WHOIS.[1]
Career History
[edit | edit source]Since 2012 he's been employed by Facebook as both a Software Engineer and a Production Engineer, recently focused mainly on supporting and growing both internal and external cloud and data center services.[1]
Education
[edit | edit source]Kucherawy holds a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Waterloo University, specializing in Computer Science, Combinatorics, and Optimization.[2]
