Schlund + Partner was a leading registrar in Germany before being taken over by 1 & 1 Internet AG, which held 66% of the company since 1998,[1] though the complete takeover and merger was not affected until 2007.[2]
As of 2004 it was Europe's largest registrar, with some 350 employees and an annual turnover of 100 million euros.[3]
