Dr. Sonny Zulhuda is an Assistant Professor at the International Islamic University Malaysia.[1] He is an Assistant Professor within the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah Law faculty; Prof. Zulhuda teaches cyberlaw, business law, electronic commercial law, and supervises the department's Ph.D. students.
Dr. Zulhuda was an ICANN Fellow at ICANN Singapore,[2] and at ICANN 46 in Beijing.[3] He recently joined another the organization of another ICANN Fellow, Mr. Parama Anandan's Foundation for Research and Sustainable Development[4]
Sonny is a member of Global ISOC and the ISOC Malaysia chapter. He served as Program Committee Member of the Giganet Global Internet Governance Academic Network, 2012 - 2013.
Career History
[edit | edit source]From 2004 to 2010, he was a Lecturer at Multimedia University.[5] Prior to which, Mr. Zulhuda was a Legal Executive & Trainer at Jagat ICT Consulting for two years. He has also been a Senior Researcher at Supancana & Partners Law Firm.[6]
Education
[edit | edit source]He holds a Ph.D. in Information Security Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
Dr. Sonny Zulhuda completed a 2008 summer fellowship program at Oxford's International Institute. [7]
