I am a dedicated professional from Libya, currently serving as a Translator at the General Authority for Communications and Informatics in Tripoli. My career is focused on the intersection of global communications, ICT policy, and capacity building, leveraging my advanced bilingual expertise in Arabic and English. I hold a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpretation, providing a strong foundation for my work in facilitating cross-cultural communication in the technical and policy spheres. My professional contributions are particularly relevant to the Internet Governance ecosystem. I have demonstrated direct engagement with the Domain Name System (DNS) through my translation of the official Libyan document, "Terms & Regulations for Government National Domain Name Registration, gov.ly," a key piece of national policy. My commitment to international cooperation is evident through my active participation in global ICT forums. I have been involved in the work of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), including preparatory meetings for the Plenipotentiary Conference (PP22) and participation in the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25). Furthermore, I have completed specialized training in Internet Governance (Internet Society Learning) and Data Governance (ITU Academy), underscoring my focus on policy development. Beyond my official duties, I address myself as a strong advocate for digital inclusion and capacity building. I have authored a formal contribution to the ITU-D Study Group 2 on "Empowering women in ICT in Libya: Bridging the Digital Divide and Enhancing Digital Skills for Inclusive Development" and have voluntarily organized and led numerous workshops on digital literacy, professional development, and the promotion of female leadership in the technology sector, including local celebrations for International Girls in ICT Day. My work reflects a commitment to supporting Libya's role in the global digital economy and fostering an inclusive, secure, and stable internet environment.
