Dhruv Dhody is a Standardization Expert at Huawei-India with over two decades of experience shaping Internet technologies and open standards. They work on how networks route and manage traffic efficiently, focusing on innovations such as Segment Routing, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and Network Slicing.
An active contributor to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) since 2010, Dhruv currently serves on the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) on 2nd term, where they also coordinate outreach and engagement. They co-chair IETF working groups that advance the evolution and operations of Internet routing technologies.
Beyond the technical sphere, Dhruv is deeply committed to broadening participation in Internet standards, particularly from the Asia-Pacific region and other underrepresented communities. Their work bridges technical development and Internet governance, promoting diversity, openness, and collaboration in how the Internet evolves.
