Virtual School of Internet Governance

The Virtual School of Internet Governance (VSIG) was created in spring of 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. VSIG has offered training in English, Spanish and French with over 2,500 learners online. By June 2025 VSIG will offer their course in Bangala and Urdu. In addition, VSIG has over 200 recordings available to all Schools of Internet Goverannce with the who's who in the IG ecosystem. In its Charter, it states a commitment to provide a free multilingual training program to anyone, any time and any where.
Academic Approach
The VSIG online program uses the leading online training portal called Moodle which provides an extensive secure registration system for administrators, teachers and students which permits the administrators the ways and means to keep track of student partcipation in each of the cohorts.
